‘The Dhun Project’ – Celebration of Sony MIX 5th anniversary

The So Delhi Confluence at The Lalit

So Delhi on 3rd of June 2016 held the second edition of The So Delhi Confluence at The Lalit. It was much bigger and better this time compared to the first one held last year.

It was a full house at the 2nd edition of the So Delhi Confluence.

The So Delhi Confluence opened with designer duo of Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor welcoming all the bloggers, the influencers and the So Delhi team to The Lalit.

After the introductory round of coffee and tea the Founder and CEO of So Delhi Digant Sharma, along with Gaurav Mishra, GM of Sales and Marketing at the Lalit Group of Hotels took centre stage and officially opened the event. Digant Sharma made the official announcement of the So Delhi app which is available in the Google play store.

In the panel discussion few eminent bloggers brought to light several interesting perspectives about the blogging industry.

Swati Gupta, the Marketing Manager of Fossil Group launched the Armani Exchange watches.

 

Renowned social activist Leher Sethi engaged in a one-on-one conversation with Mr Kapil Mishra from Aam Aadmi Party and discusssed about the ways in which an individual can do their bit for the city.

The blogger who did extraordinary work in their respective domains were felicitated. Keshav Suri, the Executive Director of the Lalit Group of Hotels, presented the awards to the bloggers.

A cocktail break followed with the gathering sipping on Cutty Sark’s iconic whisky and Witlinger’s satiny textured beer giving an opportunity to bloggers and the influencers to connect with each other.

A panel discussion followed  where the panelists highlighted ways to build better networks between brands and bloggers.

Naina Redhu, eminent luxury & lifestyle blogger and photographer then took over the stage to answer questions from the gathering.

Three bloggers pitched their ideas for a campaign outreach program to a panel of four distinguished guests and the best pitch by blogger Pallavi Chaturevdi won an Armani Exchange Watch.

There was a raffle where 5 lucky winners won lots of goodies.

To express her gratitude to all the bloggers and the influencers, Priyanka Sharma, co-founder of So Delhi took the stage to impart the closing note.

The gathering dispersed for dinner and enjoyed a sumptuous meal which included The Lalit’s world renowned Dal Baluchi and spaghetti which was being made in a big bowl of cheese, while connecting and networking with fellow bloggers and influencers.

While signing off all the attendees received a goodie bag which was nothing less than a treasure chest having loads of nice stuffs.

All in all it was a memorable confluence where bloggers and influencers connected and got to learn a lot. The fun and food was the bonus. It was one great evening at the The So Delhi Confluence.

Datsun redi-GO : Capability of a crossover and convenience of a hatchback.

The latest entrant Datsun redi-GO is a car having the combination of ease of a hatchback and the ruggedness of a sports utility vehicle (SUV).

The Datsun redi-GO will be the third car from the Datsun after the Go and Go Plus which are currently on sale in India.

Datsun says that the redi-Go will be India’s first ‘Urban-Cross’, a car with the best features of a crossover and mixes them with the major attributes of an urban hatchback.

Datsun redi-GO is 3,430mm long. One of its USP is the best-in-class ground clearance of 185mm and different looks. It also gets LED daytime running lights, a first in the entry-level segment.

The tall body structure gives a spacious, bright interior and high driving position that is beyond expectations for a car in this class.

When was the last time you did something for the first time?

A simple question but a very interesting one – When was the last time you did something for the first time?

You start thinking from the very moment and go backwards trying to recall what you did recently for the first time.

I decided to ask this question from celebrities on twitter & facebook when they do a Q&A session. It was exciting for people to get replies from their favourite celebrities but for me it was exciting to get a reply on this particular question only. So i started waiting for the celebrities to do a Q&A session on twitter & facebook.

I will start with the King Of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan. It was a huge moment to get his response. Being a busy superstar of course @iamsrk did not get time to do something for the first time since long.

This had my twitter mentions and notifications buzzing for months.

@ParineetiChopra recent first timer was building her own house from scratch.

@KaranJohar gave a cheeky reply to it. He decided to keep it under sheets…err…his Mom was online.

Ranganathan Madhavan @ActorMadhavan was online on facebook and conducted the Q&A session. did something really different. He grew organic vegetables…that too on the terrace. Nice!

Jaqueline Fernandez @Asli_Jacqueline did something really cool. She did sky diving. Something which i too want to do.

Sonakshi Sinha @sonakshisinha was to the point and said she did something for the first time 3 days back though she didn’t mentioned what was it. Obviously the question was when, not what so she was to the point.

Varun Dhawan @Varun_dvn went cycling down the hill. I guess he was shooting at some foreign location when he did this act.

Sushant Singh Rajput played guitar. Something he did for the first time recently.

And last but not the least…the best of all. All hell broke down when this one happened. It was a video reply from none other than the Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar. My twitter mentions and notifications went berserk.

This is what the God Of Cricket said – ” Omar, first of all let me tell you what an amazing question. You got me thinking actually. Aa…isn’t it the first time we are doing this. This interview is the first one. This interaction i have never done before and neither have you”. And the Master Blaster gives a big smile (the one which i captured here).

I got goosebumps and went numb for few seconds when i saw a mention from @sachin_rt and when i checked the video i went crazy.
